PEX tubing is a flexible, plastic piping system made from cross-linked polyethylene, popular in residential plumbing, radiant heating, and hydronic systems for its durability, freeze-resistance, and ease of installation compared to copper or steel pipes. It's available in different colors for distinguishing hot (red) and cold (blue) water lines and can be installed using various fitting methods. PEX tubing is resistant to corrosion and can withstand significant temperature and pressure fluctuations.
PEX pipe longevity ranges from 30 years to over 50 years, with some manufacturers claiming 100 years, depending on factors like water quality, temperature, pressure, and exposure to UV light. Proper installation and avoiding direct sunlight are crucial for maximizing a PEX system's lifespan.
Generic PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) tubing appears as flexible, brightly colored plastic pipe (often red for hot, blue for cold, or white/translucent) and can be found in rolls or as straight sections. Unlike rigid metal pipes, PEX is hose-like and bends easily, allowing it to snake through walls and floors for plumbing and heating systems
These fittings are intended for use in cold and hot water distribution (potable) systems.
• Barbed end connections are designed for insertion into PEX tubing that conforms
to ASTM F876 and F877.
• Designed for use with copper crimp rings (offered separately) that are manufactured in
compliance with ASTM F 1807 and stainless steel clamp rings that are manufactured in
compliance with ASTM F 2098.
• Available in 1/2”, 3/4” and 1” PEX Tubing sizes in EIGHT (8) configurations.
• Working Pressure, Non-Shock (PSI) 180˚ F @ 100 psi, max.
• Chemical and Corrosion Resistant.

Welcome! Ask us about our new? IoT Technology. The Internet of things (IoT) describes physical objects (or groups of such objects) with sensors, processing ability, software and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the Internet or other communications networks. Internet of things has been considered a misnomer because devices do not need to be connected to the public internet, they only need to be connected to a network, and be individually addressable. ref from Wikipedia. This Technology being used with our new ECOER DC Inverter system.
