NEW A2L -EPA CONTINUING CERTIFICATION COURSE 2026.

This course is only for students that have completed our EPA Course passed the Universal or type 2 certification section 608 Certification.  Register for A2L NEW refrigerants training for 2026.


To take this training we require that you are certified on R-410A  AND EPA UNIVERSAL, to gain the experience on recovery and charging with the existing refrigerant. The reasons, SAFETY FIRST, LIVES DO MATTER.

HVAC Providers LLC will not be held liable for injuries or mishaps occurring before, during, or after the training at our facility. All attendees must have their own protective gear, including goggles and gloves, to prevent injuries, IF NOT THE SHOP WILL PROVIDE IT WHILE YOU ARE TRAINING. Insurance coverage is not provided for attendees, trainers, or guests during this training. If you do not have POE equipment, we will provide it during the training upon request at registration.

Attendees must carry their own personal insurance for the duration of the training. In the event of any injuries, we will not be held responsible. You are at your own risk at all times during this training. Please provide a family member's contact name and phone number for any medical emergencies in your registration form. In all emergencies, call 911 first.


If the trainer is unable to attend the training or is sick, a substitute will be in place to replace the instructor.

 Starting 2026, we offer a new course A2L EPA Certification course. The course begins with an introduction AND REVIEW to the EPA Section 608 through a PowerPoint presentation, covering the air conditioning cycle, and the processes of reclaiming, recovering, and recycling. Participants will learn about different types of refrigerants, their colors, and the correct methods for handling and usage, including temperature and pressure. They will also learn to identify each refrigerant without labels after recovery. The course includes comprehensive instruction on the rules and regulations for handling refrigerants, safety, transportation, as well as the buying and selling requirements. Preparation for the EPA test is part of the curriculum, with example exams provided during class sessions. Instruction is available in both Spanish and English, although exams and books are provided only in English. The course prepares students for the new A2L Refrigerants.


The schedule is set for two hours every Saturday, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, over six consecutive Saturdays. The cost is $85.00 per student for each two-hour class, excluding the book. A2L Study Home Book must be purchased thru us additionally for $65.00. The exam fee is $65.00, and RE-TAKE fee $65.00. REVIEW PRE-TEST WITH PROCTOR OR INSTRUCTOR COST PER HOUR $95.00. A minimum score of 70% is necessary to pass. ESCO Certification exams are overseen by a certified proctor. The curriculum adheres to ESCO standards and is delivered by NCCER HVAC Certified instructors. Courses are offered in both Spanish and English. Study guides can be bought optionally during the class. Successful completion of the course includes a test and the issuance of a certificate.

TRAINING CANCELLATION POLICY


Rescheduling is permitted. Requests for rescheduling must be submitted in writing via email to acernie@hvacproviders.com no later than 10 days prior to the scheduled training date. Rescheduling will be accommodated based on the availability of the next class. Full refunds are not available. Participants must be at least 18 years old. Book bags are prohibited.
