AGENDA
Starting 2024, we offer an EPA Certification Section 608 course. The course begins with an introduction to the EPA through a PowerPoint presentation, covering the air conditioning cycle, and the processes of reclaiming, recovering, and recycling. Participants will learn about different types of refrigerants, their colors, and the correct methods for handling and usage, including temperature and pressure. They will also learn to identify each refrigerant without labels after recovery. The course includes comprehensive instruction on the rules and regulations for handling refrigerants, safety, transportation, as well as the buying and selling requirements. Preparation for the EPA test is part of the curriculum, with example exams provided during class sessions. Instruction is available in both Spanish and English, although exams and books are provided only in English. The course prepares students for the EPA Section 608 - Universal License.
The schedule is set for two hours every Saturday, from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm, over six consecutive Saturdays. The cost is $55.00 per student for each two-hour class, excluding the book. An EPA Study Home Book can be purchased additionally for $55.00. The exam fee is $55.00, and retakes may incur a partial fee. A minimum score of 70% is necessary to pass. ESCO Certification exams are overseen by a certified proctor. The curriculum adheres to ESCO standards and is delivered by NCCER HVAC Certified instructors. Courses are offered in both Spanish and English. Study guides can be bought optionally during the class. Successful completion of the course includes a test and the issuance of a certificate.

Welcome! Ask us about our new? IoT Technology. The Internet of things (IoT) describes physical objects (or groups of such objects) with sensors, processing ability, software and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the Internet or other communications networks. Internet of things has been considered a misnomer because devices do not need to be connected to the public internet, they only need to be connected to a network, and be individually addressable. ref from Wikipedia. This Technology being used with our new ECOER DC Inverter system.
